Quick review, 11 eurocamp vans all very close to one another on a site that is mainly caravans. Only 3 vans have space for a car, the others must park at the gate car park a little walk away. Van is very new, only 1 season and all of them are the same spec, the ultimate. Van has aircon, also tv with some English channels like bbc1,2 and some other freeview ones but no itv or channel 4 or 5, also has an oven.
Site is noisy at the moment as it’s a Spanish holiday and for some reason Spanish people have to shout even when they are stood next to someone! No wifi at vans but they have free WiFi in the restaurant area apparently

We recently spent two weeks at Eurocamp Lo Monte with our 7-year-old, flying into Alicante and hiring a car for the duration of our trip. Overall, it was a fantastic family-friendly experience.
The campsite is about a 1.5-hour drive from Alicante Airport, and having a hire car was perfect — it made exploring the surrounding towns and beaches so easy. The directions from the airport were clear, and we found parking right by our accommodation with no issues. The campsite itself is nestled in a quiet, scenic area, giving a nice balance between relaxation and convenience.
We stayed in a mobile home from Eurocamp, and it was exactly as described — clean, modern, and comfortable. Plenty of storage, a well-equipped kitchen, and a shaded outdoor area where we could relax. The layout worked really well for the three of us. Eurocamp really seems to focus on practical, family-friendly spaces.
The pool area was a hit with our child — there are separate pools for little ones and older children, and the water was always clean and well-maintained. We also tried the playground and the on-site sports areas, which kept our child entertained for hours. The campsite runs a light entertainment schedule in the evenings — mostly shows or kids’ activities — which we appreciated but didn’t feel overwhelming.
Having a car allowed us to explore nearby beaches, towns, and a few day trips inland. The surrounding area is very picturesque, with charming villages, local markets, and some great restaurants. Alicante city is a nice drive for a day trip, and we also discovered some quieter beaches that were perfect for a relaxing day with our child.
Two weeks flew by! Eurocamp Lo Monte is well-suited to families who want a mix of relaxation and exploration. With a hire car, you have total freedom to explore the Costa Blanca region while coming back to a peaceful, well-run campsite. Our child had a fantastic time, and as adults, we felt comfortable and well looked after.
